• Gold—The published article is freely and immediately available to the public on the journal website or in a repository and is reusable. The author pays a fee (article processing charge) to publish their article under a Gold open access article policy.
• Green—The published article is freely available to the public after a possible embargo period. The article is available on the author’s website or in a public or institutional repository and is not reusable without obtaining permission from the copyright holder. The author does not pay a fee to publish their article under a Green open access article policy.
• Other—This option will list journals with open access article policies that are not aligned with Gold or Green policies.
• Any—This option will list journals with any open access article policy, including Gold, Green, and Other, as described above.

• Full—All the journal’s articles are published open access. The journal may offer Gold, Green, or both types of open access article policies.
• Hybrid—Some of the journal’s articles are published under Gold, Green, or both types of open access policies. In addition, the journal also offers the traditional subscription-based access to articles, which are not open access and copyright of the article is transferred to the journal.
• No Open Access—The journal does not publish articles open access and retains copyright of all articles.
